Encouragement & Prayer

January 30, 2026

Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. [5] For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning

Psalm 30:4-5 (KJV)

Gracious and Merciful Father, thank You for this day. You alone are God, and all power and authority belong to You! There is no end to Your mercy, and Your love for us is from everlasting to everlasting. Thank You for not giving up on us and helping us not to give up on each other. As we boldly come to Your throne of grace, we pray for forgiveness of our sins, and we pray for a heart that forgives others. We ask that You remove any bitterness, guilt, or shame, and renew our minds with thoughts of Your goodness and mercy.

Lord, before we begin this day, we ask what it is that You will have of us? How can we help others? What can we do to please You? Use us as Your vessels of light in darkness and bless us to bear witness to others of Your Mighty works and deeds. Let us be living, breathing examples that represent You in all that we do. Let others see our joy in serving You, and let us be ready to answer and tell of Your goodness.

Lord, we pray for the many who still have a great need for food, shelter, and clothing; be their provider and turn their situation around. Touch the hearts of those who have to give and open up doors that would otherwise be closed. Touch with Your healing powers those who have been afflicted with pain or sickness; heal them, Holy Father. Let their strength be renewed and give them a testimony to share with those who doubt Your power.

Lord, truly we are in this world but not of this world, and some days the cares of this world can be overwhelming, but help us to hold on to Your unchanging hand and take comfort in You. Protect us from the evil one and destroy his plans of attack on those of us who belong to You. Keep our families and all connected to us protected from the enemy's threats, retaliation, or retribution. Let the Blood of Jesus cover us from the top of our heads to the bottom of our feet.

Lord, order our steps today and bless everywhere You allow us to go. Let the indwelling power of Your Holy Spirit equip us with the wisdom and understanding to teach, preach, and live Your Gospel truth. And until You come for us, keep us in Your perfect peace, with a mind that is stayed on You.

Holy, Righteous Father, we give You all glory, honor, and praise!

Hallelujah!

In Jesus' Name

Amen!
