¹⁷ The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
    He delivers them from all their troubles.
¹⁸ The Lord is close to the brokenhearted
    and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

Psalm 34:17-18 (NIV)

Gracious and Merciful Father, You are God Almighty all by Yourself. All power and authority belong to You. We acknowledge You alone as God, Lord, Ruler, and King over all of heaven and earth. We thank You for Your new mercies today, and we thank You for all that You have done and will do for us. As we humbly come before Your throne of grace, we pray for forgiveness. We pray for forgiveness for this whole world and ask for mercy even in Your wrath. We pray for healing, deliverance, and Your saving grace for all who are lost. We pray for the healing of the mind and body for all who have been physically or spiritually attacked; restore their health and strength, renew their minds. 

Lord, we know that You are the keeper, protector, and lover of our souls; help us to endure and let Your Holy Spirit empower us to press on through this faith journey. Help us to be workers in Your kingdom and extend grace even to our enemies. 

Let the Blood of Jesus cover us, our families, neighbors, finances, jobs, schools, and everyone and everything connected to us. Shield us from the darts thrown at us, protect us from the evil one, and help us escape all the traps he sets for us. 

May all who call on You learn to be still and know that You are God and rest in You. 

May we find favor in Your sight and trust You with all of our heart. May the joy of You be our strength and encouragement until You send Your Son, Jesus! 

We give You glory, honor, and praise!
